Bio
Born in AA, Ethiopia from a musical family of five, Tedla K is a producer who didnt immerse into the music world until he moved to the U.S. In summer 2005, he came across his nieces small piano toy and started mimicking catchy beats he would listen on the radio. Shortly enough, he bought a standard keyboard and moved to college in California where he worked on his craft for the next four years. Now, based out of New York, Tedla has worked with several songwriters (including ones in UK and Australia) and has catalogued over 100 instrumentals in the field of Rnb, Hip Hop/Pop and Dance. He continues to seek collaboration with more writers/ rappers as well as licensing and shopping opportunities.
Some of his influences: Stargate, Scott Storch, Ryan Leslie, Ryan Tedder....but his music is not just original, its Mor i ginal.
